We achieved the first measurement of chromospheric magnetic fields in stars beyond the Sun, using high-resolution polarization spectroscopy data collected over a decade. This breakthrough reveals the complex magnetic field structure in stellar upper atmospheres and provides crucial observational evidence for understanding stellar eruptive activities and their impact on exoplanetary environments. The research was published in the international journal Nature Communications.
